Eligibility Criteria – Are You Eligible?
If you meet these 5 conditions, you may be eligible for the BISP 8171 Scheme:
- Pakistani nationality
- Monthly income less than Rs. 30,000
- No personal vehicle or land in your name
- Not employed in a government job
- Valid CNIC (Computerized National ID)

Online Registration Process – Step-by-Step Guide for BISP 8171 Scheme July 2025
- Visit the official portal:
https://www.bisp.gov.pk/ - Enter your CNIC
Enter your 13-digit CNIC number there. - Submit captcha & check
After typing the captcha, submit it. Your eligibility result will appear immediately.
SMS Method:
Simply send your ID card number to 8171 to check your eligibility status.
How to Check BISP Payment Status with CNIC?
- Visit official site: https://www.bisp.gov.pk/
- Go to the “Payment Inquiry” section
- Enter your CNIC number
- On the result screen, you will see:
- Whether payment has been released or not
- On what date it will be received
- From which branch/Post office it will be received
